Test script updated to use Subversion
There is a script you can use to test any version of GCstar without installing it. You can also use it to test development version. Its name is testgcstar. It can be found on this page, with more information about it:
Test beta or Subversion versions
If you already are using it, please download it again as GCstar's source code has been migrated from CVS to Subversion. Then you need the new script to get the development snapshots.

Re: Test script updated to use Subversion
Hi,
I don't understand what is the SVN snapshot that was downloaded but :
./testgcstar.pl -d 1.4.3 : "install" the current stable version 1.4.3
but
./testgcstar.pl -d SVN : "install" the "SVN" version 1.4.1 ??
So, how can we get the most latest version of GCStar ? Did you stop working with SVN since release 1.4.1 ?

Re: Test script updated to use Subversion
Hello,
It seems there is a problem with the SVN captures this script uses. I found a bug report here:
https://gna.org/support/index.php?2326
In the meantime, you can instead manually get the SVN sources using instructions from this page:
https://gna.org/svn/?group=gcstar
If it takes too long, I'll modify the script to do that automatically. But it will require Subversion to be installed, that's why I preferred using this dump.
Thank you for letting me know about this problem.

Should you have a problem using GCstar, you can open a bug report or request some support on GCstar forums.
