Export HTML - configuration
Hi all,
I use GCStar to catalog my retro video games. I would like to print the pictorial catalog by exporting to HTML and then printing a web page. The problem is that the game covers are imported into the general tab, and the screenshots are in another Details tab. I would really like it to be possible to export screenshots and not covers. Please help me a lot and sorry for my English.

Re: Export HTML - configuration
Hello,
GCstar use templates to generate different styles of HTML when exporting (in the share/gcstar/html_models/GCgames directory).
When exporting to HTML, the user can choose his/her own custom template. The templates look like HTML where the tag are using square brackets rather than arrows. It can be modified with any text editor.
Attached is a version of the flat template that display the 2 screenshots of each games.

Re: Export HTML - configuration
Hi Kerenoc
Thank you very much for the html export template. If you can, please write where to resize the screenshots in the Flat file. I thought it was changing in this section:
<tr><td><a href="$$screenshot1$$"><img height="100" src="$$screenshot1$$" alt="$$screenshot1_LABEL$$" /></a></td>
<td><a href="$$screenshot2$$"><img height="100" src="$$screenshot2$$" alt="$$screenshot2_LABEL$$" /></a></td></tr>
But unfortunately I can't find the right place to edit.
Can you still make some change - to this Flat file. It would be nice if the games were separated by a line when exporting html. It would be more clear.
Thanks again for your help.
Best regards
Jacek

Re: Export HTML - configuration
Hello,
I couldn't add a single line between games (some CSS expertise is welcome on this subject) but I created the Flat Colors with lines around the table cells and different colors for odd and even lines.
To modify the colors, change the color names : beige, cornsilk and burlywood.
Hope this helps

Re: Export HTML - configuration
Hello,
Thank you very much for your reply.
And where can I increase the screenshots when exporting HTML? Currently they are very small for me.

Re: Export HTML - configuration
It seems to me that I have just been increasing these numbers and have not observed a corresponding effect. I will check it again today. Thank you.
