Re: Requested plugins for web searches

Beaucoup de personnes collectionnent également les jeux de rôle papier et leur référence est le site : http://www.legrog.org la plupart du temps et http://www.rpg.net pour les livres en langue anglaise.

Ce serait très utile wink

Lots of gamers would be pleased to manage their collections of RPG game-source-rules books. French ones would like to use the GROG site (http://www.legrog.org), English ones the RPG network (http://www.rpg.net) wink

Re: Requested plugins for web searches

Another good source for German books would be http://www.bol.de
The page is clearly structured which should make the parsing not too difficult (I hope).
Unfortunately I have no expierience with Perl, but maybe I'll try to write the plugin anyway (but this will take time...)

Re: Requested plugins for web searches

There's plenty of problems with Polish book plugins, though most of them seem relatively easy to solve:
- Biblioteka Narodowa is broken, but they have a new handy search system (title: http://alpha.bn.org.pl/search/t#, isbn: http://alpha.bn.org.pl/search/i)
- Merlin: title and isbn search work almost fine, but there's some problem with encoding: the downloaded info lacks Polish diacritics (their site declares iso-8859-2 encoding, which apparently doesn't show up fine in GCStar). This causes another problem the other way around: title search won't work for titles that include Polish characters.
- Mareno: isbn and title search work almost fine, except the same problem as with Merlin (wrong encoding). Also no pics get downloaded even though they are on the site

This means that sadly GCStar stopped working for me as there is no chance to automate book info scraping now that the three Polish plugins are broken. Any chance to fix them?
Cheers

Should you have a problem using GCstar, you can open a bug report or request some support on GCstar forums.
