Hi, I wrote movie search plugin for csfd.cz.

I like the plugin fetch movie rating and user comments from website too but these fields are not imported by gcstar (I needed to alter GCfilms.gcm). Is it ok for plugin to set this fields ($self->{curInfo}->{comment} and $self->{curInfo}->{rating}), that are ingored by gcstar by default, or should i avoid this?

Here is the plugin. If it is not ok for plugin to set $self->{curInfo}->{comment} and $self->{curInfo}->{rating}fields please let me know, i will correct it.

Hello,

Thank you very much for this plugin. Great job.

The fields you mentioned are not imported because they are supposed to be personal values depending on what the user thinks about the movie. But it's OK to have them imported if you wish.

I just added to the update repository your plugin and an updated version of the movies model so rating and comments could be imported. Then anyone could use it from now.

Just for my information, did you use this page: http://wiki.gcstar.org/en/websites_plugins ?

Hi, thanks for this plugin ;)
But there is a little bug. Some title has longer Synopsis and there is link to show it all. For example - Final Fantasy - Spirit Within.
Except this thing, it's working great. Thanks

I know about this issue but I was unable to implement correct behavior at time of plugin writing. I will try to correct this but I have not much spare time now.

Hi, I updated plugin for csfd.cz, the webpage www.csfd.cz has changed and it rendered this plugin not fully functional. Updated plugin is attached.

Please, can you change GCfilms.gcm to import rating and comment fields too?

Thanks a lot. I just added it to the CVS repository. It will be delivered with 1.2.0.beta3.

As mentioned above, I already did it in the updates for 1.1.1. It was also delivered with 1.2.0 versions.

Ok, thank you, I only noticed that debian unstable package version 1.1.1-2 does not import these values, and tarball on install page http://download.gna.org/gcstar/gcstar-1.1.1.tar.gz does not seem to import this neither. I am looking forward to version 1.2.

Hi Petr,

thanks for csfd pulg-in! I used to have Ant Movie Catalog because of csfd support, but it is not very comfortable in wine so GCstar with your plug-in is a good solution. However, I wonder how can I get the czech name of the movie from csfd. Does the plug-in support it or does it parse and download only original name? And how about encoding? For example if I enter names of owers with czech characters and assign them to movies, after that I am not able to apply filters correctly.

Hi Tomas,
csfd webpage has changed slightly. The plugin was therefore no fully functional. I added updated plugin on 2007-09-02, see message above. Maybe it is not in current version yet. You may download this plugin, it is attached to my post above from 2007-09-02.

If it does not solve the problem, please let me know.
I have not this problem with latest csfd plugin.

The second question I can not answer, i don't know. Please, ask author of gcstar in seperate question.

Hello,
Updated CSFD.cz plugin is available.

Due the recent redesign of www.csfd.cz past versions of the plugin do not work anymore. Updated plugin is written for GCStar 1.6.1
