Remote database

Like, I'm sure, quite a few people, I have more than computer.  I'd like to be able to access my GCstar data from any of my computers without having worry about keeping multiple data files in sync.  While storing the data on an nfs (or samba, for you windows people) share is an option, I don't think it would work if more than one instance of the program is open at one time.  What I'd like is to be able to use a database server to store and access the data.

In essence, my feature request is the ability to use a remote sql database from  GCstar.

Re: Remote database

GCStar doesn't use any database at all, only XML files, so moving it to a DB would be a major undertaking.

Should you have a problem using GCstar, you can open a bug report or request some support on GCstar forums.
