Database switched to wrong template

Hi-- I have several collections. I've just added a music collection. Now my book collection is using the music template. My other collections (comic books, movies, software) are unaffected.

Deleting the music collection did not help. How can I switch my book collection back to using the book template?

I am using version 1.6.1 on Windows Vista (64-bit). My book collection has 302 books (which now says 302 Albums). ~Thanks

Re: Database switched to wrong template

Hello,

This is a weird problem, and I have no idea yet how it can happen. Do you know under which circumstances it occurred?

To fix it, just open your collection (.gcs file) with a text editor. You should find on the 2nd line:

Code:

<collection type="GCmusics" items="12" version="1.6.1">

Replace GCmusics with GCbooks and it should be OK.

Re: Database switched to wrong template

Thanks Tian. I had already reentered all of my titles by the time I saw this but I will keep it in mind.

Should you have a problem using GCstar, you can open a bug report or request some support on GCstar forums.
