Bug report generated from GCstar
Version: 1.7.1
Operating system: linux
Error message: /media/thierry/HD_medias/Musiques_OK/Programmes CD_Theque/CD_Thierry.gcs
Cannot open items list. Please check access rights.
Additional information:
Hi,
Today when I try to open my CD collection on GCStar, the program freezes with a dialog box showing that it's loading (see the picture joined).
I'm under Ubuntu 16.04 and my repertory is well mounted and the rights are goods.
Regards,
Thierry

Re: Bug report generated from GCstar
Hi,
Problem solved. There was a problem with the pictures emplacement and maybe the language. So, I could edited the properties of my collection, and I added the french language and the pictures directory. After that, I could open my data.
Sorry for the noise,
Regards,
Thierry

I believe I'm having the same issue (same error message pops up) but doing what Thierry did didn't help me. Any other suggestions?

Re: Bug report generated from GCstar
You can try to change the settings of GCstar. In its configuration file |b]GCstar.conf[/b], if you set the variable view to 2, the list of items will be displayed in textual mode and you may succeed to launch GCstar. After that, you may find the pictures causing this problem.
You can also try to install the latest GCstar scripts from a source repository.

Should you have a problem using GCstar, you can open a bug report or request some support on GCstar forums.
