User fields disappeared

Yesterday is started a collection of computer games. I added a extra tab containing some information about the medium and its location and packaging. That whole tab and all the information in it just disappeared.

I just started the program, added a new title and wondered the disk-number on that title was 92. So i changed it and took a look at disk 92, just to discover the value there is gone. After closing and reopening the Program the whole tab was gone. And of course no Backup.

Re: User fields disappeared

I could not reproduce this bug on Ubuntu 20.04. Could you share the collection file you're using to help resolve this issue?

Re: User fields disappeared

I could not reproduce it either. Maybe it was just one coincidence. Or it has something to to some dependencies, I installed Date::Calc and GD for stats. Or maybe with swapping to a different system. I save all my data on a NAS and sometimes I open the files on a Windows machine. I'll try this later on. Or could it be because of changes in the fields. As going on I added more fields to the Tab.

Re: User fields disappeared

You could enable in Preferences/Features the automatic backup of the last version of collection files (in the same directory, extension gcs_backup).
