Re: I've got time for writing some plugins

For ibs.it [ I use this page http://www.internetbookshop.it/code/978 … GRETI.html ]

"Titolo" --> Title
"Autore" --> Author
"Prezzo" --> Price
"Dati" --> year, number of pages, edition
"Traduttore"  --> translator
"Editore" --> publisher
"Editore" --> synopsis
"Media Voto" --> Rating

Re: I've got time for writing some plugins

For bol.it [ refer to http://www.bol.it/libri/scheda/ea978888451611.html ]:

"Harry Potter e la camera dei segreti " --> title
" 1ª ed. " --> the edition number
" J. K. Rowling " --> author

320 is the number of the pages, Salani is the publisher and 2005 is the year of publishing

"I vostri giudizi" is the average rating

"Contenuto:  " is te synopsis

"Altri dati:" the genre (  in this case the book is for teenagers )

do you need something else?

Thanks for these plugins from italian users:D

Re: I've got time for writing some plugins

Well, "Editore" is the person who publish and print and distribute the book, "Curatore" is the person who organize the book.

An example:
in the film/book "The Da Vinci Code", Jacques Saunière is the "Curatore" of the museum ( Louvre ).

IMHO the "Collana" is not really important because it refers to a single edition of the book...another example:
I am the publisher ( "Editore" ) and I have many books referring to Linux, many that refers to Fantasy story, etc.
I decide to create a "Collana" in which I publish books that talks about linux and I call it "the Penguin", then I create another "Collana" for fantasy books and I call it " Fantasy Story ".

Another example for "Collana":

I have a db with 20 italian users and 30 french users, I create 2 tables, the first one called "Italians", the second one "French"...well, Italians and French could be my two "Collana"...but another person with the same 50 users in his db can create one table with all the male users and another one with the female users...he has two different db organization with the same records:-)

Here there are two other examples of "curatore" vs "editore":
http://www.internetbookshop.it/code/978 … R-MAN.html
(the "curatore", Mr. Lupoi M. M., organizes (=edits) that book, published by "Einaudi" in the series "Einaudi Stile Libero"),
http://www.amazon.com/Symbolic-Connecti … 0805810803
(John Dinsmore , the Editor, is the "curatore" of the book).
So, the "curatore" is the "editor" of the book... wink

Ok, zenone, in that case I will use the tags "Italian" and "French, or "male users" and "female users" respectively... I don't agree with that use of the term "collana"... "Collana" is decided by the publisher, not by the reader, as explained in http://www.demauroparavia.it/24144

So, I think that "Curatore" and "Collana" are two useful fields for managing collections of books... ;-)

The Collana is decided by the publisher...but if I have a different edition of that book...the Collana doesn't mean anything for me...

Re: I've got time for writing some plugins

Bol doesn't seem to work...I have tried to search "harry potter" and "Signore degli Anelli" (--> the Lord of the Rings) but it founds nothing! (If I search the books going directly to bol.it I found them easily )
