plugins in Griffith
Hello all,
Since it is my first post I would like to thank all authors that contributed to this program as this app is best one I know of its kind.
There is some plugins I would like to see ported to this app from Griffith found here http://griffith.vasconunes.net/
I interested in some nice soul having Stopklatka, Onet, and WP plugins ported. I am not sure how much work is it going to cost, but since there is code already present IMHO it shouldn't be much of an issue for a programmer.
Other plugins if time allows are welcome here as well
Tnakks in advance
Edit:
Plugins are located here
http://svn.berlios.de/wsvn/griffith/tru … 0&sc=0
Edit 2:
Also I might be wrong but FilmWeb plugin that is already present in GCFilms might need some tweaking as it couldn't find this movie when clearly it is there
http://www.filmweb.pl/Film?id=3494
P.S. If any info for translations is needed Ill be happy to help

Thank you for this introduction

I had a look to the source code, and it would be easier to fully re-write them I think. Griffith uses Python while GCstar is in Perl. And the way to extract information from pages is different.
It would be nice if you could list the URLs of the websites you'd like to have in GCstar with the language used. Then I will update this post with these information:
http://forums.gcstar.org/viewtopic.php?id=72
And so any developer could be aware of this request.

I'll have a look at it ASAP. I just suppose you mean GCstar

All the websites are in polish and I would be happy if I would see them included so I could easily update my collection of polish movies. The one website I would like to see the most is Stopklatka.pl as it is just as big if not bigger as Filmweb (at least for polish cinematography )

I knew that, but I am not a programmer so for me one script language equals another and I believed that it would give some leads to have it incorporated in to GCstar
I just suppose you mean GCstar
Of course sorry about that

OK, I added them to the topic mentioned above. If someone that doesn't speak polish will take care of it, I think your help will be needed then.

Should you have a problem using GCstar, you can open a bug report or request some support on GCstar forums.
