Re: print
I've found few perl modules:
Linux:
http://search.cpan.org/~ebassi/Gnome2-Print-1.000/
Windows:
http://search.cpan.org/~wasx/Win32-Printer-0.9.0/
Both:
http://search.cpan.org/~srpatt/Printer-0.98/
I hope it will be helpful.

Re: print
Hello,
Thank you for these information. I won't have time for this yet and there are a lot of pending tasks.
So for the moment, I created a task:
https://gna.org/task/?4901
and also a question in the FAQ:
http://wiki.gcstar.org/en/faq#how_could … collection
It references the task also, so any developer could be aware of this request.

Re: print
I would like to print a list of Movies for a DVD Case.
For me the easiest solution seems to be another HTML Template, that renders the list in a even simpler way than "Simple" currently does^^
I will have look on how the Templates work soon...

There is already a work in progress for this:
http://forums.gcstar.org/viewtopic.php?id=213
You will find a plugin to create a LaTeX file containing what you want. Do not hesitate to give your feedback about it in its thread.

Re: print
First, let me begin by saying this is a great application. I love it. I have it running on a Ubuntu box as well as a Windows 7 PC, same database on both.
Please help with the ability to print (Hard Copy) from within the database. Make it such that fields are selectable, potentially, have a design option, where the user can select and place each desired item in a specific location for the Hard Copy printout. I am sure there is a HUGE number of users that would like this ability.
Sample uses fro printing: Anything you need to provide for insurance purposes, anything you want to print to maintain an off site copy (In case of Fire or some other damage), This is a great package like it is, but with one addition, it would be superb.
Thanks for the great software, and keep up the great work, If you could help us out, I know I would greatly Appreciate it.
Dan
