Polish book pages
Hello there! First of all, this seems like a great program. I haven't had the time to test it extensively, but this summer I'm planning a complete refurbishment of my flat and about that time I plan to also catalogue all of my books - and they are many, really (several thousands). Such a tool would certainly come in handy - and I really hope GCstar is the program to use.
Now then, I noticed the internet search option does not include any Polish pages devoted to books exclusively. Is there a way to change that? The most extensive book data repository in Poland is the web catalogue of the National Library of Poland (http://alpha.bn.org.pl/screens/opacmenu.html). Adding it to the supported sources list would pretty much solve the problem. However, if that's not possible ( ), there are also two Amazon-like shops: http://www.merlin.com.pl and http://www.mareno.pl/ . Is there any chance these are included? Or perhaps it would be easier for you to post some on-line how-to for all those who'd like to do the job for themselves?
Cheers!
Why oh why is writing plugins for GCStar so complicated...

Re: Polish book pages
Ok, as to the National Library, their web search page seems to be machine-readable (at least when it comes to ISBN and ISSN searches), and the number entered in the search field is also parsed in the address bar of the browser. Does it mean that adding that page to the supported list is not as hard as it seems?
Cheers

This page already exists here: http://wiki.gcstar.org/en/websites_plugins
So let me know if you wish to write these plugins and need some help.

Err... I think I meant something more idiot-friendly. You know, the "cut-this-paste-there" type... Anyway, the National Library of Poland is the way to go for Polish books I guess, since they are the biggest Polish library and all publishers send them a copy of their books. As soon as GCstar is compatible with their site, the other two I listed loose sense since they're book stores and - by definition - have much less books in their catalogues.

Should you have a problem using GCstar, you can open a bug report or request some support on GCstar forums.
